trip report 21st-31st may

very quick report on our annual family visit.

had a great time at coney island.sea very cold but did manage a dip.didnt rate nathans and broken glass all over the sand a major problem.

had lovely chinese at chin chin.always love virgils bbq,great family meal.day out at long beach was fab.loved everything about the area.

arthur av on a rainy day not very exciting but the canoli was to die for.

30th avenue in queens was a great place for chilling out and people watching,so much so we hated the thought of returning to midtown manhattan.

spent alot of time in central park ,just being a family.kicking a ball and climbing the rocks.

visited TOTR again.still a great thrill.

rode the cable cars,ok i suppose.

loved the village on a saturday night.

this will shock alot of the experts but we loved little Italy.one of the highlights of our stay must be the clown on mulberry street.i can still hear his voice.my wife and son were in tears of laughter.simple game of throw the ball,hit the target,soak the clown.he was pure comedy genius!!

all in all great family trip.love new york and love the people.next year a hotel in the boroughs as manhattan does get tiresome.

oh and small footnote we did get to see Obama riding down 6th av.very very exciting.my six year old asked ';is it Jesus coming?';.
