williamsburg bridge to brooklyn bridge

We are coming to New York next week,I%26#39;m planning a loose itinery and would on sat 6/6 would like to walk across williamsburg bridge -visit the craft market that%26#39;s on and then head down towards brooklyn bridge.

Can any %26#39;locals%26#39; please suggest a route that will take in %26#39;a flavour of Brooklyn%26#39;

We are a family of 4- mum, dad %26amp; 2 daughters 22/19

Hi bert - IMHO it%26#39;s really not advised to even think about walking from the Williamsburg Bridge to the Brooklyn Bridge. It%26#39;s much too far.

You can take the subway but you%26#39;d need to first take the %26#39;L%26#39; train back to 8th Avenue in Manhattan and then switch for the %26#39;A%26#39; train to High Street in Brooklyn - and then make your way to the Brooklyn Bridge - and walk across it to Manhattan.

You can also take a cab - cost will be around $20.

There%26#39;s a cab service on Bedford Ave in Williamsburg...
