managed to get excellent front mezz A center seats for wicked tomorrow to celebrate my daughter%26#39;s 13th birthday! Can we walk to Gershwin from Penn Station and is there anywhere along the way we can get a really quick meal - we will only have about 2 hours between arriving and time the show starts. Also - are jeans ok for the theater and any restaurants?

The Gerswin is on 51st b%26#39;twn 7th-8th and Penn Station is on 34th b%26#39;twn 7/8th an easy walk IMO.

many places on 8th for food - pubs, small restaurants, cafes etc.....

Jeans OK for the theater and most restaurants for lunch.

You can also zip up easily by subway. If you come out of Penn Station on the 8th Avenue side, take the Uptown E or C (same platform), two stops to 50th St./8th Ave., the theater is just down the street. If you come out of Penn on the 7th Ave. side, take the Uptown #1 two stops to 50th St./Broadway, the theater is down the block in the other direction.
