NYC in Sept

I am starting to plan our 2nd trip to NYC in Sept and want to stay in the city this time. We live in upstate NY, don%26#39;t want to drive into the city and was wondering if you can park your car north of the city somewhere for a few days and take the train in??

We too are heading to New York in Sept. and are coming from Ontario. We chose to take the amtrak train from Syracuse ( not too far from your home ). The price is only $192 for both of us total. That is way cheaper than driving to New York and paying up to $50 a day for parking on top. The train arrives at Penn Station and we are staying at the New Yorker Hotel across the street. No worries, no traffic. Have a great trip.
