Central Park Zoo on Sunday

We arrive this Sunday. After we drop off our bags, we wanted to walk through Central Park. Is the zoo super crowded on Sunday? Should we try the zoo later in the week on a weekday? Any thoughts?

Sunday%26#39;s fine -- spend a whole day at the Bronx Zoo later in the week. (Ya think we all go to the zoo every day so we%26#39;d know the crowd answer?)

Bronx zoo was our first choice- just don%26#39;t think we can fit it into our schedule.

The bronx zoo is a day trip, you will spend at least 4 hours there and only be able to see part of the zoo. It is huge and there is a lot of walking. Wednesday is ';pay what you want'; day so it is very crowded. CP zoo is small but very nice, takes about 2 hours for a full visit.

We were at Central Park Zoo last Sunday around noon, it wasn%26#39;t too crowded. Go and enjoy!

OOOPs your biggest problem will be the Israel day parade heading up 5th Avenue on Sunday -- It shouldn%26#39;t make the zoo any more crowded - just more difficult to get to.

Hmmmm ..... K%26amp;M ..... not to burst your bubble ...... but the Central Park Zoo is never crowded because it%26#39;s really %26#39;not all that%26#39;. Sure there%26#39;s a few penguins, bats, seals, monkey%26#39;s and a couple of polar bears ..... but a lot of the major animals like giraffes, elephants, rhinos ...... lions, tiger and bears ..... oh my ..... are no esta aqui. Well maybe there is a lion or two ..... but Toto ..... this aint Kansas.

but those penguins make it completely worth it!

especially when its 90 degrees and 99% humidity!

I got news for ya%26#39;ll ..... one of those penguins catches a cold or %26#39;the swine flu%26#39; or something ..... and you can just about say ';Adios'; to the whole zoo.

Just should expect too much .... that%26#39;s all.
