South Pacific seating question

Is row D Orchestra too close to the front of the Stage? I have a neck problem and I don%26#39;t want to be looking up at the stage?

Thankyou to anyone who takes the time to answer this. I do appreciate your expertise.

South Pacific seating question

I saw South Pacific from the next to last row, so am not a particularly good source on this question. However, my recollection of the Beaumont, which is newer and quite different from the traditional Broadway theaters, is that the front rows aren%26#39;t as low as in the traditional theaters. Also, keep in mind that if you choose something further back, you probably won%26#39;t be disappointed, as there aren%26#39;t many bad seats in that theater. Although I would have preferred closer seats, I had no complaints about the next to last row,

South Pacific seating question

The Vivian Beaumont Theatre is more horseshoe-shaped theatre than its official seating chart might suggest. But it%26#39;s a very ';shallow'; theatre, so even the seats in the last 5 rows [a/k/a the Loge] are far from remote.

Our seats were squarely in the center of row H, and I myself would not have wanted to be any further front.

Are these row D seats in the center section (seats 301-315) or in one of the side sections? If you have a choice, you should opt for the most center seats you can get, even if that means sitting more towards the back, and try to avoid seats most on the side (seats with numbers in the 100%26#39;s and 500%26#39;s).

The seats are in the central section.
