What does this look like now?

Wed., July 1

--train to NYC arrive Penn station ~ 8:00am

--stop at Iroquois Hotel to drop bags

--Staten Island Ferry

--shopping Greenwich/SoHo area

--back to hotel to clean up

--dinner, **undecided where**

--';In the Heights'; show near 45th %26amp; Broadway ~ 8:00pm

--walk back to Iroquois

Thur., July 2

--Marvelous Manhattan tour w/ lunch at Katz%26#39;s ~ 9:00am-4:00pm

--St. Patrick%26#39;s Cathedral ~ 4:30%26#39;ish

--dinner, **undecided where**

--TOTR for sunset (around 8:30pm)

--pick up bags at Iroquois

--Penn station train back to friend%26#39;s

I can%26#39;t offer you any itinerary help as I%26#39;m still trying to perfect mine ;) but I thought I%26#39;d offer you a ';bump'; as this is about to disappear to the 3rd page. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable then I will be along to help you soon!

I was wondering whether overall the itinerary looked paced well and was grouped efficiently area-wise and if it was a good mix of sight-seeing for the time and specifics we have.

Any ideas on the 2 dinners?

My thought was a nice dinner pre-';In the Heights';, $30/person%26#39;ish, something that would be remembered as a part of the trip (not just food for nourishment type food place). It could be ethnic or an especially good representation of a particular food, or an interesting atmosphere/property.

My thought for the 2nd night dinner was: since we will have a good, filling and unique (for me at least)lunch at Katz Deli on the Marvelous Manhattan tour, dinner that night could be something very light or delicious desserts, or appetizers, or....

Again, something that will be a remembrance of the trip to NYC. Doesn%26#39;t have to be fancy or expensive, just something different than I get here in Indiana usually :-)

The only no-no%26#39;s are Indian food and hot spicey foods.
