Apply for a credit card!

Is there a particular reason you dont have a CC? If I were you, I%26#39;d apply for a cr card and get a low credit limit...such as $500USD......

Your only other choice is to go to the box office when you arrive and hope they have tickets (and pay cash).

If you are going to travel to NYC or elsewhere for that matter - a CC is essential, to guarantee payment at hotels, renting vehicles, well not in NYC, just apply for a card - usually it is no big deal to get one even if you think you are not going to use it - something that any traveler should have.

Pretty much common sense.....

Poppa

Do you have a PayPal account? eBay vendors are required to accept that as payment, and many (but not all) ticket sellers on StubHub will accept that too. Wicked tickets are available via both of those websites.

i do have paypal. thanks for that.

i dont want a CC. more hassle than they are worth over here.

%26gt;%26gt;i don%26#39;t want a CC. %26lt;%26lt;

This is certainly your preogative - however, what I%26#39;m trying to get across is that many hotels in NYC REQUIRE that you guarantee any ancilliary charges with a credit card or leave a large cash deposit with the cdesk clerk.

And if you did have a cc - you would have gotten your tickets, correct??

Don%26#39;t bite off your nose to spite your face - just offering some USEFUL travel information.

I have to agree with Poppa. Not only would a credit card help in situations such as above, it would also be very useful in case of an emergency, especially when you%26#39;re travelling and unfamiliar with an area.

You might want to look into getting a Pre-Paid Credit card for the trip.

I agree the hassle of having one is far less than the hassle of not !

maybe its hugely different in the UK, but it takes no effort to get a credit card here.

You dont have to actually use the credit card once you get it but its a good thing to have in an emergency.

I know the frequent flier thing isnt as popular in the UK/Europe, but I%26#39;ve flown to Asia business class FREE thanks to frequent flier miles earned from credit cards.
