Greetings from a Belize Lover! If only I had a Belikin Stout right about now....

There%26#39;s a used CD store on 8th Street between 5th and 6th Ave. This used to be my regular store when it was somewhere else, and I just passed it this weeekend and notice it moved there. They had a store on Bleeker Street too - very good selection - I am blanking on the name but you cant miss the store on 8th Street - its one of the few non-shoe stores on the block.

The Strand Poppa mentioned is great - many review copies and discounted books - the cookbook section is phenomenal. That whole neighborhood has independent book stores as well - but more targeted to specific tastes - the Revolution bookstore, etc.

Thanks so much. I will raise a Belikin to you this evening! And have you sen the temps in Merida this week - I was there a few days ago - beofre getting caught in the earthquake in Belize. Too much excitement.
