Tolls from NYC

Hiya. Going for a week on June 14. Trying to get everything set. Anyone know what the tolls would be from NYC to Lake George? I rarely use my easy pass and want to make sure there is enough on it. TIA

There is another route that can save tolls - it may take a bit longer but it is also much more scenic - that is the Taconic Parkway. It extends from Westchester County to Columbia County. You can bypass much of the NYS Thruway with this road.

If you take this route you will enter the Albany area from the east on I-90. (The Taconic terminates on I-90 near the MA border) You will take I-90 west then pick up I-787 north (in Albany) to Rt 7 west to I-87 North to Lake George. As I said it will likely add time to your travel - but depending on where you are starting will effect the time increase. The speed limit is only 55 on the Taconic
