Dinner Suggestions before Jersey Boys 6/25

I am trying to help a friend plan a trip to NYC for her and her boss. They have gotten tickets for Jersey Boys on Saturday night 8pm show. The theater shows a link to 21 for a pre theatre dinner for $38. My question is this the best thing to do? Another suggestion for dinner? How much time should be allowed for dinner to get to the show on time? Reservations? Any suggestions would be helpful. Does not need to be an elegant type restaurant--a fun place would be great!! THanks

There is not one ';best'; restaurant/thing to do EVER in NYC. ;) 21 is a historic NYC landmark. The food is good not fabulous and it%26#39;s one of the few places that still requires men to wear coat and tie. I prefer the downstairs barroom which has lots of memorabilia hanging from the ceiling from their famous customers. It%26#39;s nearish the theater but not the closest option. (maybe 10 min. walk) Really depends on what kind of food they want. The show is at 8 on Sat. so if they eat at 6, that should be plenty of time. Absolutely need reservations for 21 Club and any decent place for a pre theater on a Sat. night.
