transportation from LaGuardia Airport to Super 8 North Berg

I assume by North Berg. you mean North Bergen N.J. Are you staying there and planning on commuting daily to Manhattan for touring?

If you use Dial 7-- a well recommended car service it is approx. $70 plus tip and toll.

Or you could take a bus to the Port Authority and take a second bus from there. --less expensive but much longer ride!

hi

the specific address is:

Super 8 North Bergen NJ/NYC Area

2800 Columbia Avenue

495 East %26amp; Lincoln Tunnel Rd

North Bergen, NJ 07047 US

yes, i staying there and planning on commuting daily to Manhattan for touring.

but for the daily transfer the hotel have shuttle .

do know which bus number is serve this area?

if i buy the weekly bus pass is it cover this area?

There is a bus stop a quarter-mile east at 30th Street and JFK Boulevard that is served by many NJ Transit buses: the 107, 108, 115, 129, 161, 163, 190 and 192. For schedules, go to www.njtransit.com and choose ';bus.';

This area is not covered by the Metrocard and there is no weekly pass. Bus fare is $2.55 cash each way. Most buses leave from the Port Authority Bus Terminal at 42nd Street and 8th Avenue, Manhattan.

The main concern is that I would consider this area to not be safe at night for pedestrians; it is an industrial area that is at the junction of two major highways.

I realize you are staying there to save money. I do not know what you are paying or if your reservation can be cancelled. Have you considered staying in the myriad of hotels in Queens. They are much closer, they are reached via NYC subway and therefore are on the 7 day Metro Card. You also don%26#39;t have to deal with a more rigid schedule of buses.

thank%26#39;s for the advice.

i did not make any Reservation yet .

do you have recommendation for hotel in Queens

for 100$ - 120$ ?

There is a 2 zone bus 10 trip for $21. 30th stMake sure coming back the bus goes through Union City as some buses skip that route. There are also Gypsy buses on Kenedy Blvd as well. The hotel is verry safe to walk to as the Super 8 is more on the exit ramp to Kennedy. There is a shopping Center across the street with a movie theater. Union City the next City over is worth a visit as well, as Jersey City and Hoboken. New Jersey also has alot to offer as well. Here are a few links.

If you go on the last link you can see the exact location of your hotel and what the area looks like.

Last link didn%26#39;t connect for some reason. Try it again.

For $100-120 this summer, you have the Pan American Hotel ($102), La Quinta Sunnyside ($91 on Expedia), Comfort Inn Long Island City ($103), Days Inn Long Island City ($93), and Quality Inn LIC ($110) all to start. And there are more - I just picked the most convenient ones. Check prices on Expedia, Quikbook, Kayak and the hotels%26#39; own sites.

Don%26#39;t stay by JFK or LaGuardia airports, they%26#39;re hard to get to by public transit. But there are many other hotels in EASY locations in Queens like the ones above.

All are right near 24 hour subway service into Manhattan that takes just a few minutes. All are in walkable neighborhoods with interesting ethnic restaurants nearby. All are in New York City!

Staying in Queens will be MUCH closer to Manhattan, cheaper to travel and easier to get from La Guardia. Long Island City is the closest area in Queens to Manhattan and now has quite a few hotel options. Just make sure you pick one near a subway stop. You can map any hotel on

maps.google.com

and use the ';search nearby'; function to find anything from subway stations to restaurants.
