Hi,
We are staying at the Brooklyn Bridge Marriott from Thursday 6/18 to Saturday 6/20. I was wondering how we would get to Citifield for a Friday nite game. We will have a rental car. Would it be easier to drive?
or take the train.
Another question, how far is Coney Island from this hotel?
Thanks alot.
getting to citifield
Hi Madonna - Re Citifiled - I always think taking the subway is easier than driving. But you will have to go to Manhattan first. From your hotel you would walk down Adams to Joralemon Street to the Borough Hall subway station at Joralemon and Court Streets (just a couple of blocks). Take the #5 train to Grand Central Terminal-42nd Street station - get off the train and make your way to the #7 train (direction Main St/Flushing Station) - take the #7 until the Willets Point Blvd - Shea Stadium Station. Get off there and walk over to Citifield. The whole trip should take you 45-60 minutes. And the #7 train will be filled with Mets fans!
Go to the Mets game hungry - lots of great food in the center filed food concourse, including Shake Shack burgers.
For Coney Island - walk to the Borough Hall subway station from your hotel - Jay Street entrance - and take the ';F'; train all the way to Stillwell Ave. Get off and you will be at Coney Island. Trip should take around 1 hour.
Hope this helps.

Better to drive?
