bringing my boat to Lake George

Hi,

We%26#39;re planning on honeymooning on Lake George in October, and we%26#39;re looking for somewhere with a dock so we can bring our own boat (a 21 foot Baja).

Can anyone recommend a hotel/motel/B%26amp;B that has it%26#39;s own dock slips? We%26#39;d really rather not have to launch it daily. We%26#39;d also prefer a cabin or something with a kitchenette.

Any advice would be appreciated.

There are plenty of places that you can rent that will accommodate your needs/ Try www.visitlakegeorge.com or www.adkbyowner.com. There are Realtors as well who rent for the homeowners - one in the Bolton Area is www.lakegeorgeproperties.com. I suggest Bolton Landing - Basin Bay area. It is a nice area and offers good views as well as nice access to the Village by car, Bolton Landing by car and the Narrows by water. Please make sure you invest in a chart of Lake George before going out. One that I personally use is www.jimapco.com/Product.asp… It is the Lake George Boaters Map.

I forgot to mention that Basin Bay is in Bolton so the boat trip is quite short and easy. So if you want to go to dinner or lunch by boat it is a nice short easy ride by boat too. Rentals in Northwest Bay would also be nice.
