Parking near WTC

Is there any self-parking near WTC? We%26#39;re staying at the Hilton on Church Street and need to save all we can. Thanks!

Parking near WTC

There are parking garages ie Bettery Park Garage%26lt; but I do not know how much it costs and if it is less then the hotel....but if you mean parking on the street...if it exists anymore is very restricted...ie.. park after a certain hour at night and leave by a certain hour in the AM (I don%26#39;t know what the hours are anymore) but quite honestly I would suggest not having a car at all in NYC, it is really not necessary...

saving money and parking in this area are mutually exclusive. you might want to consider that this hotel is right by the path station and therefore the most cost effective solution is probably to park somewhere in New Jersey and take the path train into the city. perhaps someone can make a NJ parking suggestion. if you insist on driving into manhattan, there are some slightly less expensive lots further uptown on the far west side. i think the lot where the circle line is (not sure the pier number) may be the cheapest but again someone else might have a better idea.

My brother and sister-in-law lucked out on their September weekend visit and found free on-street parking on a side street north of your hotel. But frankly, I was amazed, and don%26#39;t think you should bank on that.

I like nyplaymaker%26#39;s idea of parking near a PATH station. Journal Square would be your best bet, I think; here%26#39;s a page with map, list and [very reasonable] rates:

Are you driving from California? I am puzzled why, if you are staying in that neighborhood, you would have a car at all. Certainly, you would have no use for a rental car in NYC; if you rented a car to drive from somewhere else, you should return it as soon as you arrive in NYC. You are not planning to be driving around Manhattan -- are you?
