JFK airport

What do you think to stay at JFK airport from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM overnight (to catch a flight next morning)?

Instead of taking Air Train, shuttles to go to a hotel and stay a few hours?

Any suggestions?

What time does your flight arrive at JFK (and from where), and what time does your next flight take off (to where)?

Unless you stay at an airport hotel, I dont think its worth it to leave airport. If for instance you ARR at 10pm...by the time you get your luggage and get to the airtrain/subway and into the city, it could be midnight. Spending all that money for a few hours sleep........

We%26#39;ll arrive from abroad around 9:00 PM, and catch a flight to DC around 6:00 AM. Is it safe just sitting on the charis, try to take a nap at JFK in the middle of night?

TaiTa .... yes you%26#39;ll be ';safe';. JFK is busy all through the night and there are security guards everywhere after 9/11. BTW ..... have you ever seen Tom Hanks in the movie ';The Terminal';.

I%26#39;d stay at the airport. I%26#39;ve been through JFK only once and didn%26#39;t like it as an airport---so crowded and busy and... I was actually shoved for not moving fast enough, not once but twice. Unbelievable. That said, I would definitely just find a spot on the ground somewhere...

It%26#39;s not a rave review, but given the time constraints, I can%26#39;t imagine paying for a hotel when you%26#39;ll have to get up so early to get to the plane...
