What%26#39;s the best way to get from Embassy Suites in downtown Manhattan to the Prudential Center for a show? How long is the commute? Thanks!
Best way to get from Downtown to Prudential Center
Do you mean the Prudential Center in Newark? If so, it%26#39;s pretty easy. Take the PATH train at World Trade Center stop (Vesey and W. Broadway/Church St.) in NYC to Newark Penn Station, It%26#39;s right near by. If everything goes well, 20 minutes or so.

Also, next to Newark Penn Station is the ';Ironbound'; District, known for (delicious and inexpensive) Portuguese and Spanish restaurants. Once you%26#39;re in Newark, stop for a meal.

Best way to get from Downtown to Prudential Centernynm, thanks for the info - its exactly what I was looking for! TA is making trip planning so much easier!
Great! Another thought if you have a bot of time: Get off at the Exchange Place station (first in NJ, next stop after you board at WTC). Go right upstairs for fabulous (!!) views of Manhattan, which is right across the river.
There%26#39;s a little park there to see it all, and a Hyatt Regency if you want to stop for a drink overlooking the skyline. Good spot day/night.

re: above post: I meant a ';bit'; of time, because I don%26#39;t know how long a ';bot'; is!
Be sure to click on ';photos'; on the website I gave you. You will see that the PATH train is right next to the hotel, and the views are terrific!
Enjoy!
I have stayed at that Hyatt..and the views are amazing.
The best thing is that it IS right next to PATH..great suggestion, NYNM.
We had dinner in Ironbound one of the nights we were there.
NYC distacts us from Newark..lol, so I don%26#39;t know when we%26#39;ll ever go back..but someday..Food was great, atmosphere even better
PATH with out a doubt. Try Tripponi in Penn Station next to track 1 for pizza. Don Pepe on 21 is one of my favorite Spanish Resturants, and try the Pastrami from Hobby%26#39;s in the Rock, during your event. Here are a few links.
