Best family campgrounds for a family with 3 kids(10,6, 4)?

Looking for a campground that offers activities and is also conducive to a family atmosphere. Looking for a place that actually keeps the 10:00 pm quiet rule enforced. Have a pop up trailer and a rather active group of kids.

I have seen their website. also have seen some negatives. Was hoping to get people%26#39;s opinions on where they have actually stayed. All the websites are always positive but not always the case when you actually camp there. Thanks :)

Just FYI- The Lake George Escape is actually located on the Schroon River. It looks lovely, but is not on Lake George.

I am only familiar with tent camping. We loved Hearthstone Point (close to village with a nice beach, on the trolley line) and Roger%26#39;s Rock (very far north, not close to the village, some lakefront sites). The state campgrounds are gorgeous, but can be roudy at night depending on the crowds. I learned to avoid Americade (next weekend) the hard way.

My friend has a fifth wheel, and loves the Lake George RV Park http://www.lakegeorgervpark.com/ There is a trolley to the village, but the campground itself is not on Lake George.

I always camp at Roger%26#39;s Rock it is on the East Side in Hague closer to the Northern end of the lake a few miles from Ft Ticonderoga. Me and my family have been camp there many times since I was a child. They hae showers, a boat launch and their own private beach. I recommend it.
