Urgent help needed, holiday in two weeks !!!

Hello,

Hoping somebody with good knowledge of the Hamptons can help!

Myself and my partner will be visiting in two weeks for the first time from England and after looking at trip advisor we still have no clue where would be the best area for us to stay in the Hamptons!

We are in our mid 20%26#39;s and would ideally like to stay somewhere with a nice town with bars/restaurants and beach close by.

Accomodation wise it would be great if we could find a place with a pool and somehwere that%26#39;s within walking distance of the town or beach. Open to all price ranges.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Are you planning on renting a car? If not, you either have to decide whether you want to be able to walk to the beach or the town b/c for most of the villages, you can%26#39;t do both. East Hampton has good restaurant choices and a beautiful beach but you mostly need a car to get from one to the other. If you%26#39;re not into a big club scene, Amagansett might be a good option. It%26#39;s just east of East Hampton and the town is a bit closer to the beaches there.

Gansett Green is one idea.
